Education in Africa is not free and 9 million girls in Africa between the ages of 6-11 will never have the opportunity to attend school. African Girls Hope Foundation (AGHF) exists to provide school aged girls in Sub-Saharan Africa with a free Christian education. By empowering them through education, these girls will gain the knowledge and confidence to grow into women who will positively contribute to their communities, nations and the world.

AGHF has partnered with schools in 5 different villages in the South Kivu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), as well as Release International Mission in Kenya.

Of the girls who are selected to become beneficiaries through our worldwide partners, 80% of those beneficiaries are orphans.

Education is not free.

The primary mission of the African Girls Hope Foundation is to empower African school girls in Sub-Saharan Africa by offering essential financial education resources. Our organization aims to support and enable the education of these girls who otherwise could not attend school.

Education is vital to the empowerment of girls in their communities.

For one girl to attend school, it costs $948 a year. When you give to African Girls Hope Foundation, you are helping us to provide education to hundreds of girls currently living in Africa of which 99% are orphans.
