How do education and menstrual pads relate? If a girl can't afford pads, she will not be able to attend school the week of her period. Humiliation and misunderstandings will sometimes prevent her from ever going back once her period starts.

In order to wear pads, a girl must have underwear. This also becomes a financial barrier to education.

Part of Feminine Hygiene, is the hygiene. Cleaning, washing and smelling good is an important part of our personal hygiene. This is key in not only health, but in self confidence.
