Boone United Methodist Church Welcomes AGHF

Our founder, Grace Faraja Nkundabantu, and AGHF team supporter Anne Busieney had the honor of joining the Boone United Methodist Church community in North Carolina. Each year, Boone UMC dedicates time to highlight the incredible impact of the many NGOs they partner with around the world—and we are humbled to be among them.

On Saturday. . .

Church members took the time to write messages and letters to the refugee and orphan girls in Africa who are supported by AGHF—a gesture that truly encourages and inspires them. They love receiving these cards -Thank you! 📫

On Sunday . . .

Grace spoke at two services, sharing updates and expressing gratitude for the church’s unwavering support of African girls’ education. She highlighted an exciting milestone. We have grown from 3 countries to 5! An amazing opportunity to reach across borders and support some of the most vulnerable girls in the world!

  • AGHF is now present in 5 African countries: Kenya, the DRC, Burundi, Uganda, and Rwanda

  • Sponsoring 254 girls on their journey toward education and opportunity

During Bible study. . .

Grace joined a panel discussion where NGO leaders responded to thoughtful questions from the congregation. This open dialogue was a fun and effective way to answer questions, go deeper, share stories, and connect more personally with those who make this work possible.

Grace and Anne were grateful for the time they were given to help others understand the great work that is happening within AGHF.

Thank you very much. . .

💖We are truly amazed at the great things happening at Boone United Methodist Church—for your partnership, your prayers, and your love. Your support is helping transform lives, one girl at a time.

In the words of Scripture, “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others” (Philippians 2:4).

Thank you for embodying this spirit so faithfully in your care for the girls of AGHF.
