First 2 AGHF Girls in Uganda!
We are thrilled to celebrate an exciting milestone for African Girls Hope Foundation —
our first 2 AGHF scholarship girls in Uganda! 🎉📚
These amazing young women are currently attending secondary school (high school) in Uganda because of AGHF scholarships. We are proud to have a chance to support them and can’t wait to watch them grow, learn, and shine.✨
Have you met Clement?
You might notice in the photos one of our dedicated AGHF lead mentors, Clement, wearing the black t-shirt with our AGHF logo. 🖤💙🩷
During Clement’s visit in Uganda, he spent time meeting with our scholarship girls, the school administration, and visiting with their families. AGHF regularly has the mentors meet with our girls in person, assess their situation, and this helps immensely as we can better understand their schooling conditions and the challenges they are facing. We know the power of mentorship and its importance to each girl’s success in school and in her own personal life.
Clement also visited other families in the community to better understand the broader needs in the region. 🌍Connecting with several other vulnerable families facing serious economic and social challenges. We are grateful for the diligence and care our mentors give to each girl in her unique situation.
Great News🎉
The great news is that our girls are doing wonderful! 😊 They are happy and grateful to have received scholarships that allow them to remain in school—something that many girls in their communities sadly cannot continue due to financial hardship. Staying in school gives them hope, opportunity, and a brighter path forward. During his trip, Clement also had the opportunity to visit a few local schools to see the learning environments and better understand the education experience for students in the area. 📚✨
The African Girls Hope Foundation is proud to support them as they continue their education, stay in school, and pursue their dreams. 💛 This is just the beginning, and we will be cheering them on every step of the way until they graduate! 🎓✨
