60 Girls - Setting off to School! 🚍

This day has brought a bus-load of 60 girls together! 60 families have gathered to send off their 60 girls to start a new school year! In Nairobi, the new school year starts in January.

Ready to get on the bus!

Girls on AGHF Scholarships attend a large variety of local quality schools. As AGHF grows, we have worked hard to bring the girls together in fewer schools. This way, they can rely on and support each other and receive more help from AGHF mentors. This brings the travel and time expenses down considerably for our mentors. But getting this to happen was no easy task.

Families helping the girls load up onto the buses

On January 14, 2026,

AGHF successfully managed the transfer and integration of 60 girls from various day and boarding schools across Nairobi and other cities to St. Patrick Hills High School. This strategic move was designed to provide the girls with a stable, high-quality boarding environment conducive to academic excellence and holistic development.

Our staff collaborated closely with guardians and the school administration to facilitate pre-admission mentorship and ensure the provision of essential academic materials, boarding necessities, and hygiene kits. St. Patrick Hills School was specifically selected for its rigorous academic standards, disciplined atmosphere, and student-centered approach.

Every girl needs a locker or suitcase to hold all her belongings during the school year. These are stored in their dorms.

SECOND:

Loading up 60 mattresses! The high school is a boarding school. The girls need to mattresses for the beds in the dorms.
