African Girls Hope Foundation visited with the 60+ girls on AGHF scholarships here at St. Patrick’s high.
Our mentors work tirelessly with each of the schools, meeting with the administration and staff to ensure every girl has the support and help she needs to succeed. Today we are visiting St. Patrick’s High School.

Africa, USA and Canada teams meet the girls
Our AGHF team surprised the girls at St. Patrick’s with a visit to their school. Visitors from the US included our founder and co-founder, Dr. Grace and Denis; Sam Lee, a member of the Board of Trustees; and Valerie, who is a USA staff member. Another big surprise was a visit from a favorite mentor who had recently moved to Canada. We all welcomed seeing and spending the week with Jean Claude.

🏫ADMINISTRATION: After meeting the administration and receiving a warm welcome and personal tour, we were inspired by their devotion to high educational standards while including and being constantly aware of the girls' day-to-day needs.
🌳LOCATION: It is an amazing location that is continually improved. One highlight was the many trees there and how they are continually planting more and involving the girls in this process. In a country where the heat can be overwhelming for months on end, this school has created a natural oasis of with a lot of natural shade. It is a school that stands on faith, team work, dilligence, and a spirit of progress.

These are the beautiful scenes we came to witness and support. Girls, refugees and orphans who are beating the odds. Girls who are sitting in classrooms. Not home, not married, but learning and thriving in school. Girls who will have the chance to graduate from high school. We loved seeing the hope in each of their faces. Education is a beautiful thing to behold.
