What an incredible weekend we have had! Were you able to attend? If you were - you were one of the lucky ones!
We had an amazing global connection full of mentorship, support, and engaging workshops! The 2026 African Youth Global Connect Conference brought together African and African diaspora youth for an inspiring weekend. This conference was created to build, equip, and fill our youth of the next generation with strength, confidence, and, you guessed it, hope!
This year, our conference traveled to Louisville, Kentucky! Oh, the places we go!
We welcomed approximately 110 participants, representing 5 African nationalities and traveling to attend our conference from 9 different U.S. states.
The diversity of attendees reflected the growing impact and reach of this annual conference as it continues to connect young leaders across communities.
2026 THEME: Built for More: Dream, Education, and Breaking Barriers
MORNING WORKSHOPS & TRAINING SESSIONS:
A major focus of our annual conference has been our morning workshops and training sessions! These are led by special guests and have been a highlight of our conference each year, as they are always very engaging, interactive, and definitely educational. This year was no different! In fact, our biggest response at the end of the conference was to extend the conference to another day so attendees could attend more workshops!
