For example, Heather has pioneered creative, social media-style benefits education videos to help bring benefits to education to multiple generations in the workforce. She is also active in industry networking groups, continually expanding her professional connections and staying updated on industry trends. Previously, Heather managed the Atlanta Employee Benefits Team of Lockton’s Southeast Series, focusing on client experience, associate training/development, and client team effectiveness. Before joining Lockton, Heather worked as Director of Account Management and Senior Strategic Account Executive for UnitedHealthcare.
🤝🏽 Joining the AGHF Board of Trustees
I’m honored and energized to join the African Girls Hope Foundation Board of Trustees. As a lifelong community advocate, I’m deeply aligned with AGHF’s mission to ensure refugee and orphaned girls in Sub‑Saharan Africa receive a high‑quality education and the mentorship and resources to thrive—“Fund an education, Fund a life.” I’m excited to help amplify this work so more girls can graduate, lead, and lift their communities.
🌍 Final thoughts from a Georgia Native
I’m a mother of two amazing teenage boys and have the most supportive and wonderful husband, Eric Larson, who is also joining the Board. I am a Georgia native and graduate of The University of Georgia. In my free time, when I’m not shuttling kids to soccer or school, my favorite thing to do is travel. I love learning about other cultures and experiencing new places. Professionally, I have over 2 decades of employee benefits consulting and insurance experience. I love helping my clients take care of their people and feel passionate about keeping healthcare affordable.
